Alex came to me with a particular design he had in mind. We spent time at the drawing table for quite sometime until he finally settled on this striking single cut design.

This bass features a really nice piece of Buckeye Burl for the top and matching headstock, which is where the name "Cosmic Storm" came from. The center core is mahogany with a maple back laminate. The neck is a five piece lamination of maple and sapele. The center laminations taper from the bottom of the bass on through until they disappear a little over two-thirds of the way up the neck. It has an oil finish, black hardware and unique electronics setup.
